Help Host Spiritual Retreats this Fall
A crucial, life-changing component of our unique ministry to persecuted people across the Middle East and North Africa is back following a time of hiatus due to the global pandemic.
Our Field Ministry Team is so excited to once again, face-to-face, invest in the lives of our persecuted brothers and sisters in Christ in life-changing ways as we:
- Disciple new believers
- Provide biblical counseling, as many believers who attend have deep wounds
- Offer a safe place to pray, worship, and grow in faith and community
Held in secure locations, away from harsh living conditions and the eyes of the secret police, attendees feel safe and cared for. They are nourished — body and soul. They participate in intense Bible study, refreshing worship — and develop a deep focus on the love of Christ.
We were so excited to begin hosting retreats again in July. Here is a just one example of your impact, shared by Seif who attended the retreat …
“I lost my brother two months ago. Today in Christ, I have more brothers than I can imagine. I feel like I am home among my family!”
Our Spiritual Retreats are just one more way God has equipped Help The Persecuted to Rescue, Restore, and Rebuild the lives of our persecuted brothers and sisters around the world.
The cost of each retreat varies (on average $7,500), based on location and number of attendees, but your gift will help cover:
- Accommodations and meals
- Conference room space for meetings
- Discipleship materials
- A gift for those serving and leading
Your generosity today, as the Lord leads, will enable us to offer three scheduled events before the end of this year:
- Jordan — investing in teenagers from refugee families
- Turkey — focused on Iranian refugee families
- Iraq — a Spiritual Retreat for persecuted women
Thank you for giving what you can today. Whatever your sacrifice, it will be used to bless the hearts and lives of God’s persecuted people in desperate need.
Occasionally we may receive more contributions for a particular project than can be wisely applied. Should that occur, we use contributions to meet similar pressing needs.
